First thing’s first: an analog dump

Well, hey! Summer seems to be winding down. Over the past few months, I’ve relaunched the site, shot a bunch of pictures, got a bunch of rolls back from the lab, and finally broke in my Epson V600. Happy to be back in the swing of things.

Pretty much everything I had shot in the first half of 2018 was on my Canon Rebel X (or on my iPhone), and I had accumulated quite a pile of C-41. I wish I had shot more, but there’s plenty of time left in the year to make up for it.

Here’s a random assortment from the past few months.

I’ve started a collection for everyday, personal photos like these—slices of my daily life. This photo diary can be found here.

A personal goal that I’ve set for myself is to shoot more portraits. I’ve got some new ones up on my portraits page, but I’m excited to photograph more faces!

I’m finally back on Instagram after a small break from social media. I’ll try to make blog posts like these a regular thing, but follow me there for day-to-day updates. I’ve got a few projects coming up that I’m excited to dive into and bring to fruition.
